About Me

A photograph of the computer games programmer Phil Beveridge.

This is the only picture of me that I like.

Thanks for visiting my portfolio! My name is Phil Beveridge, I’m 22 years old, and come from Gateshead in the North-East of England. I graduated from the BSc Computer Games Programming course at Teesside University in Middlesbrough, and am currently looking for industry experience. I am passionate about making games, and I’m always thinking of new ideas for projects. Ultimately, I want people to get enjoyment out of the software I develop!

I have experience with the following programming languages, technologies and platforms:

  • C++, C#, Java
  • Direct3D, SDL, XNA, Unreal Engine, Windows Forms
  • Windows, Xbox 360 and GP2X projects

I also know a bunch of other stuff, such as image and video editing, office skills, web design, computer maintainance / repair, and event organisation.

Oh, and I also like playing computer games, but that’s probably a given.

A lot more information about myself is scattered across this portfolio website, with most of the important details on my CV. If you have any questions (along with feedback on this website), please feel free to contact me at nearlyphil@gmail.com.

For all you people who have the habit of randomly highlighting pages and text whilst looking through them (like I do), this line is here just for you. Congratulations!
