In the summer in ’90s… Daily tannoy in the morning.”pupils may removed their blazers and tie and undo the top button” and in the afternoon another tannoy. “Pupils must not leave school improperly dressed and must do up the top button and put on their ties and blazers” Every day in summer term…. total control via tannoy !

i was expelled from this school a few years ago, so what can i say? mr flanigan? i think i saw a side to him that nobody ever saw. one day, soon before i was expelled, i was told to sit in that tiny room that connects to his office. i was in there for so long that i fell asleep. the cleaner (or him, he denied) locked me in. i managed to get out and was so confused, had no clue what time it was. it was nearly 8.

Im still at this school and its a fucking shithole, out of the 180 boys that started in my year in first form, 4 years later, 7 have been clinically depressed to the extent that they have attempted suicide, and 12 have been expelled for standing up to this tyrannical system. There are fights everyday, which the teachers simply dont give a shit about ( as long as noone leaves any visible marks). and Mr Flanagan is thebiggest cunt ive encountered in my entire life. When one of my friends became the subject of anti-semitic bullying i got suspended for backing him in a fight, flanagans reasoning being that he goot himslelf into this mess so he can get himself out
